The project will target newly arrived residents to Cardinia Shire who are unfamiliar with our community and will involve implementing a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse engagement strategy to involve participants in Adult Community Education taster classes and 'getting to know your community' tours in the school holidays during 2008. Classes for the children of these families will be offered concurrently and support and mentoring groups established for sustainability beyond the project's duration.
